Lake Erie offshore wind will create thousands of good-paying union jobs, provide new opportunities for MWBE business owners, generate millions in revenue, and position Western New York as a hub of this new industry.

New York's nation-leading Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) requires the State to invest or direct resources to ensure that disadvantaged communities receive at least 35 percent, with the goal of 40 percent, of overall benefits of spending on clean energy and energy efficiency programs, projects or investments.
